Scott v. US Dept. of Education; undue hardship established

In Scott, the debtors owed over $300,000 in student loans. That huge debt burden, even though they had a decent income between them, burdened them with monthly payments excessive enough to satisfy the Brunner factors. Read the opinion for yourself here.
